Rhettorical

The rantings, views and commentary of a right-winged criminal justice student on current events, politics, law, and even life. The goal of this blog is to allow the writer to vent on articles and experiences that make him angry and to open up discussions in a hostile atmosphere. So please sit back and relax as I convert you to the dark side.

Alcohol Does a Body Good....

While I myself am not a big drinker. (Never ever been drunk before.) I do support the right of everyone to drink. I find this news report rather funny though.

It states that one to two drinks a day is medically sound. It does good things for the body and has benefits. But in today's world booze is so demonized that we can not under any circumstances promote it. That is why the article advises those who now drink to basically cut back and that they "are not encouraging anybody to start drinking."

They should just come out and say it. Anyone can drink and should drink a little if they want to. It is good for you. Just be careful on where you drink, when you drink, how much you drink, and a take into considerations of how you act when you are under the influence. It is not the governments job, the state's job, the city's job, nor MAD, SAD, or DAD's decision to decide who can and can't drink.

But we can't do that in today's PC society. No siree!
