Rhettorical

The rantings, views and commentary of a right-winged criminal justice student on current events, politics, law, and even life. The goal of this blog is to allow the writer to vent on articles and experiences that make him angry and to open up discussions in a hostile atmosphere. So please sit back and relax as I convert you to the dark side.

Much adieu About Nothing?

This article reports that protestors are going hi tech and a bunch of other filler that is just pretty much so dull it almost isn't news.

But there is one good quote.

Free speech advocates say New York's police have videotaped past protests, so organizations like United for Peace and Justice are encouraging protesters to bring their own video cameras to videotape the police.

I remember a case where the cops threw a fit when videotaped. Our instructor told us to act like you are always on videotape so if you are filmed, which will definitely happen in police work, you won't have to worry about your actions. So if the cops do right there should be nothing wrong with this. And if they do wrong there is still nothing wrong with this, just the cop.

And as for the protestors whining about cops filming them, they are in public presenting a public argument, they should expect it.
