Rhettorical

The rantings, views and commentary of a right-winged criminal justice student on current events, politics, law, and even life. The goal of this blog is to allow the writer to vent on articles and experiences that make him angry and to open up discussions in a hostile atmosphere. So please sit back and relax as I convert you to the dark side.

Feral Hogs and Government.....

I saw this article in my local paper and thought it was a pretty good read. A crazy couple buy nearly useless land bugged by large pests at an insane price and make a business out of it. For the lazy non-clickers they bought some un-farmable land and are using it to sell hunting expeditions to other people and are making a good living at it.

The funny thing is feral hogs are non-regulated. Just domesticated pigs that are now undomesticated. So no licenses, fees, seasons, nor bag limits exist. It is a unregulated industry that has gained a mind of its own. I applaud this couple for finding a new venture; nay, a new frontier in a society that is creatively bankrupt.

So that takes us to another issue. How can such a thing exist without government interference? I bet dollars to donuts that when the government finds that more than a few people can make money off of this, that it will be regulated. Government in any form now thinks that its new missions is to assimilate funds and dollars and increase in size any way possible. So it is only a natural evolution that these people will be screwed with in the future. You heard it here first.
